Area H Marching Contest (Mid)-Week Announcements

Panther Band Family,

Happy Area Marching Contest Week! The band is working hard to prepare for two great performances this upcoming Saturday. As a reminder, we are leaving after halftime on Friday so the band can get some rest before Area. If you haven’t yet, please see the itineraries for this Friday’s game and Saturday’s contest.

We know that folks are monitoring the weather and want to assure you that Area H is also aware of potential rain on Saturday. The Area H reschedule date is Monday, October 30. If Area H decides to reschedule the contest for the following Monday, we will know sometime today, Oct. 26.

In the event that there is weather on Saturday at the contest site, the contest hosts will delay the contest until it is safe to resume and bands will be notified of any adjustments to the schedule. Should our prelims performance time be adjusted, we will post in the BAND app to communicate this out to our families.

If you can come out and support the band, please do so! The kids always love to see (and hear!) the support for their hard work.
