Weekly Announcements - Week of 8/21/2023
Panther Band Family,
Thank you so much for your support last Friday in attending our Parent Preview Performance and Ice Cream Social! It was wonderful seeing so many parents, both at the General Band Parent Meeting, and also at Panther Stadium supporting the band.
As mentioned at our meeting, there is a role for everyone and we certainly cannot continue to reach new heights as a program without your help! Be on the lookout for some specific emails from either myself, our Band Booster President, Ms. Graf, or our Fundraising Chair, Ms. Ware. Many hands make light work!
Also, I need to stress that all rehearsals and performances are mandatory. We cannot expect to function as a cohesive team with inconsistent attendance. If there is a conflict, please fill out an Absence Request Form, found on the band website. Repeated tardies and absences will put a student at risk of losing their drill spot (for both Varsity and Junior Varsity drill spots). Please use the Carpool Submissions list to make sure we can aim for 100% of on-time attendance!
